How do blogs help bring in more work?
Think about what you search for before choosing a business. Costs, options, what to expect, who can help. A useful blog answers those questions and gives people a reason to visit your website. From there, we help them find your services and take the next step. More traffic is useful when it brings the right people to you.
What does it cost, and what’s included?
Our most popular plan is $195 + GST a month for two blog posts. Four posts are $295 + GST, and eight are $395 + GST. All prices are in NZD. Every plan includes topic planning, 2,000-word articles optimised for SEO and AI search, scheduled WordPress publishing and a simple feedback loop. You can also reuse the content in your newsletters. The main choice is how often you’d like to publish.
How much time do you need from me?
A little at the start, so we understand your business, your customers and how you like to explain things. Your stories and experience are the bits only you can give us. We take care of the planning, writing and publishing. This should free up your time, not become another job on your list.
Will the articles sound like us?
That’s the idea! We want someone reading your blog to recognise your business, not feel like they’ve landed on a page that could belong to anyone. Tell us how you talk to customers, share a few real examples and let us know when something doesn’t sound right. We’ll use that feedback to get closer to your voice.
Are the posts optimised for SEO and LLM search?
Yes. We write around the questions your customers ask, with clear headings, useful answers and links to the relevant parts of your website. An LLM is a large language model. LLMs are the AI models behind tools such as ChatGPT. The aim is content that people and search tools can understand and use. There is no guaranteed Google ranking or AI recommendation.
Can I use the blog posts in an email newsletter?
Absolutely. The content is yours. You can use a post as the starting point for a newsletter, or send a short introduction with a link to the full article. It gives you something useful to share with existing customers without starting from a blank page. You can send it through the email tool you already use.
How do blog posts build credibility?
They give people a chance to see what you know before they get in touch. A clear explanation, a real example or an honest answer to a common question can help someone feel more confident about choosing you. We bring your experience into the articles, so readers get to know the business behind the website.
Who chooses the topics?
We plan topics around your services and the questions your customers are searching for. You’re welcome to bring ideas too. That question you’ve answered three times this week? It could be a great place to start. We’d rather answer something useful than publish just for the sake of it.
How quickly will we see results?
Blogging is a longer-term investment. The time it takes depends on your website, the competition and the topics we cover. We’ll be straight with you: there’s no guaranteed ranking or number of enquiries. What we can do is keep building a useful library of content while you get on with running the business.
Is this worth it for a small business?
Start with what a new customer is worth to you and whether people research your service online. Two useful articles a month can be a sensible place to begin. We’d rather help you answer questions that could lead to work than fill your website with things nobody needs. If your website needs some basics sorted first, we’ll tell you.
How will we know if it’s helping?
Look at the enquiries coming in, where they came from and the work they lead to. It’s also useful to know which articles send people to your services or contact page. We can talk through what your website currently tracks before you start. The point is to help your business, not give you another set of numbers to stare at.
Do we need a WordPress website?
These plans are set up for WordPress, which lets us publish your posts on a regular schedule. If you use Shopify or another platform, have a chat with us before signing up. We’ll check what’s possible and whether this is the right service for you.
Can you work with our existing blog?
Absolutely. You don’t need to start from scratch. We’ll look at what’s already there, what’s still useful and which customer questions haven’t been answered yet. If there are articles you’re especially proud of, send them our way. They’re a helpful starting point for understanding your voice.
What if something needs changing?
Just tell us. There’s a simple feedback loop so you can point out anything that needs a tweak, whether it’s a detail about your service or a phrase you’d never say. You know your business best, and we want that knowledge to come through.
Can I cancel, and do I keep the articles?
Yes to both. Our plans are month-to-month with no minimum term. Email us to cancel the next billing cycle. The content stays yours, on your website. We want you to stay because it’s useful, not because you’re stuck in a contract.
Are you based in New Zealand?
Yes, we’re based in Stonefields, Auckland. There are three of us here and more of our team in the Philippines. We work with businesses across New Zealand, often online, as you might expect from the name Virtual Innovation! You’ll have real people to talk to when you need a hand.
Do I need the free audit before signing up?
No, it’s completely optional. The free SEO Blog Audit plugin gives you a look at your WordPress site’s content and SEO basics. It works with WordPress 6.0 or later and alongside Rank Math or Yoast, rather than replacing them. If you’d prefer to leave that side to us, just choose a plan.
Is blog writing the same as a full SEO service?
Blog writing is one part of getting found. Your website’s technical setup, service pages and other search signals matter too. If you need rank tracking or wider SEO support, let’s talk about that separately. We’ll help you work out what’s worth doing for your business.
